Family Drug Support Australia (FDS) is a national organisation that provides support group meetings for family members who have a loved one affected by drugs or alcohol.

Family Drug Support Australia (FDS) is a caring, non-religious organisation which provides support for family members faced with problematic drug and/or alcohol use across Australia.

FDS offer peer support groups which are open to anyone and provides an opportunity to talk and listen to others in a non-judgemental, safe environment. The aim of these support groups is to assist families to develop their understanding, gain skills to build resilience, and improve the outcome for both the person who uses the drug and their family.

FDS runs support groups in different locations around Melbourne and regional Victoria, including Balwyn North within the Eastern Melbourne PHN area. Due to COVID-19, all support groups are currently run online.

This service is for anyone who has a family member or loved one impacted by drugs or alcohol in Australia.

This is a free service.
